HOWTO: send E-mail message in Japanese (or Chinese) using NJStar WP

There are two ways that you can use NJStar WP to send Chinese or Japanese Email.

1. Use NJStar WP's built-in sendmail function

  • type the message in NJStar WP normally
  • goto File menu - Send Mail
  • select the Message format (you may need to experiment on which format your receipean can read)

2. You need to save the file and send the file as email attachment using an email client.

  • Type your message in NJStar WP, and use its "File", "Save as..." command to save. Please make sure that you select the correct "Text File" option for the receiver's country/place from the "Save as type" field.
  • Generally speaking, People in Taiwan and Hong Kong can read "Big5 Text File". People in Mainland and Singapore can read "GB Text File". And Shift-JIS code is used by most Japanese users.

If you have installed NJStar Communicator, you are able to read ANY Chinese, Japanese and Korean coded messages in email, newsgroup and webpages.
